As a dedicated, compassionate preventative healthcare advocate, Dr. Becky has found her life’s purpose in the healing science of Acupuncture and holistic healthcare. Her goal is to offer not only pain relief, but improved physical and mental health to facilitate and enhance your overall wellbeing and aquality of life.
“I have been so blessed to pursue a career in natural medicine. I have such a passion for helping others alleviate pain and disharmony and to enhance their quality of living. It is an honor to share your path to improved health and well-being. My goal is truly your wellness.”
Dr. Becky has close to twenty-five years of professional clinical experience in therapeutic bodywork. Oftentimes her recommended treatment sessions will include massage and other healing therapies for a unique and customizable hands-on experience that is sure to have you feeling better than when you arrived. If you are nervous about trying Acupuncture, but know you love the healing benefits of massage, you are always welcome to schedule a bodywork therapy session instead of a consultation. This way, you can combine the therapeutic benefits and relaxation of traditional or deep-tissue massage techniques (and stimulating acupressure points) with a consultation!
Dr. Becky strongly believes in holistic healthcare and the fascinating science of acupuncture with its capacity to stimulate biochemical balance and to enhance our body’s innate ability to heal emotionally and physically. She specializes in musculoskeletal concerns and pain management, anxiety and depression, stress reduction, immunity, weight-loss, and overall health management. She will always work within your comfort level, integrating her treatments with the additional care or recommendations you are receiving from your other healthcare providers. Your are in good hands (pun intended!) with this experienced professional.
Becky Palmer, AP, DACM has found her life’s purpose in caring for and enhancing the quality of life in the patients she treats. She began her healing career as a Licensed Massage Therapist in upstate New York, and after fifteen years of successful practice, found the need to offer her patients more effective tools to achieve their wellness goals and pain relief. She was inspired to become an Acupuncturist after having worked with many clients whose pain and health concerns were not being resolved by pharmaceuticals, surgeries and typical western medicine was oftentimes creating more symptoms and much frustration. Having personal and clinical experience seeing the success and advantages of acupuncture and natural medicine in the treatment of both chronic and acute conditions where conventional medicine was falling short, she chose to pursue her dream of natural medicine in sunny Florida. She graduated summa cum laude receiving the Founders Award as well as her Masters degree in Chinese medicine from East West College of Natural Medicine. She has studied abroad at hospitals and private clinics in China, including the western medicine 301 Military Hospital in Beijing and the San Xi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Tai Yuan. She is certified in Natural Acupuncture Point Vitamin and Homeopathic Injection Therapy as well as Dry Needling.
